climate change - “HOW MUCH WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT?”
Hahnemann Charitable Mission Society, Jaipur and NABARD(National bank of agriculture and rural development) are organizing a one day workshop on “climate change: global warming”. The workshop aims to spread awareness about the effects we all facing due to climate change, guide people how we can take self initiatives, build an effective communication network to impart this message to our common masses through the responsible citizens, to guide the school and college students to take self initiatives and at the same time to play an effective role in spreading awareness among their friends/mates and social network.
The workshop is essentially meant for Individuals, NGOs, Agriculturists; Environmentalists, Delegates from Corporate Houses (Agri and Non Agri), Government Bodies, and Agri based Companies Academicians School & College Students, Researchers, Tele Communication Groups, Bankers (Nationalized and Private), Print & Electronic Media Groups, who are enthusiastic and committed to promoting Health and Social change.
climate change: In the last few years, scientific research and knowledge on climate change have progressed substantially, confirming that the current warming of the Earth's climate is very likely to be due to human activities such as the burning of fossil fuels. The Earth’s warming is already having measurable consequences and future impacts are expected to be wide-ranging and costly. The Earth’s climate is influenced by many factors, mainly by the amount of energy coming from the sun, but also by factors such as the amount of greenhouse gases and aerosols in the atmosphere, and the properties of the Earth’s surface, which determine how much of this solar energy is retained or reflected back to space.
The most vulnerable people are in general the poor, since they have less capacity to adapt, and their livelihoods are often dependent on resources that are linked to climate
This is the Alarming Time for us to wake up and take immediate actions.
Together we can tackle global warming. 'This is a global problem requiring a global solution, but we can all help to make a difference. If we reduce the amount of energy we use and make our energy consumption more efficient, we will reduce the impact that we, as individuals, have on the environment'
Your voice is important. You have to right to speak out, to be counted, and to tell everyone what you think. Be a part of this workshop and let everyone knows that we are together and will fight against this problem to make our Environment worth Living
